A friend of mine set up a site like this when she and her husband adopted their daughter to keep family and friends informed about their progress. She continues to keep it updated and I look forward to checking it periodically. I thought I would try to do the same for Brylon. I will try to keep it updated regularly, but I am not making any promises.
Brylon is now 15 months old and has her Daddy wrapped around her finger! (anyone surprised?) She is walking everywhere! In fact, she would rather walk than be confined only to the places that Mommy wants to go. She is becoming more and more independent every day.
She has moved up to the next class at her daycare. This was much harder for Mommy than it was for her. She never missed a beat and just fit right into her new class. Mrs. Yvette and Ms. Amanda from her newborn class spoiled me. I wish they could both move to the next classes with her. She is learning some sign language in her new class. She can sign eat, more, milk, bath, and of course her "what's up" head nod her daddy taught her. We are now working on Thank You! She gets this confused with eat. Maybe she doesn't get it confused, she may just want to eat all the time. Brian calls her his garbage disposal. We do not have to worry about her starving - She is NOT going to let that happen.
She is starting to talk a little more. She says hot, only it is "hhhoooot" in a whispered voice. She doesn't grasp the concept of hot yet though. Everything is hot whether it comes out of the oven or the freezer. She knows that a cow says "moo", but so does a dog, cat, or duck. Of course, her favorite word is Dada! You ask her to say Mama, Nana, or Oma, the only thing that comes out is Dada followed by a mischievous grin.

This is Brylon signing "eat". (Note the cracker already in her hand.) This is what she is doing half the time around the house. The other half of the time, she is tapping her fingers together (the sign for more), saying "mo,mo".

Ready to go to Oma & Opa's on Good Friday. She knows some spoiling is waiting for her.
Hunting Easter eggs at Eco-Drip. You get to pick up more if they all spill out of your basket.
You mean there is CHOCOLATE in these things?
WHAT?

She loves to climb on anything. She climbs on our concrete steps when we go outside, so we bought her this climb & slide thinking she would have a great time climbing and sliding. NOPE. She would rather sit and drink mom's tea and play with the ice.
You didn't really think that I would post a picture of her supporting A&M without also supporting the Red Raiders!
See ya soon!
