Lake LBJ

Our friend, Kyle, had a birthday last weekend. We had the priviledge of spending his birthday with him & his family at their home on Lake LBJ. What a treat! They are an awesome family. We had a blast.

We flew down there Saturday morning and landed at a private airstrip on the lake. That was an experience in itself. We had to buzz the runway to get the deer off the airstrip.

It was a little cool Saturday, but that did not stop us from getting out on the lake. Kyle's parents took Brylon & I out on the boat, while Kyle & Brian went fishing--so they say. We haven't seen any fish yet! (Sorry Kyle, I had to get that LAST dig in.)

I have been giving Kyle a very hard time about not catching any fish, but in his defense, his dad told us nobody caught fish that weekend. So, I guess I need to cut Brian & Kyle some slack.

It was beautiful Sunday, so Brian took everyone up in the airplane to see the lake from a different perspective, while Kyle took us around the lake in the boat. We all had a great time. I can't wait to go back when it is warmer so we can enjoy the water & go skiing.

Mom & Dad gave this wrap to Brylon & she looks so cute wearing it. They gave me one that matches it (I won't torture you with a picture of that one), but Brylon thinks it is pretty cool to "be like Mommy".
