Two weeks later we got to go back to Ruidoso, NM for our niece's, Colby, wedding. Brylon got to be a flower girl once again. She isn't going to know how to act if she ever goes to a wedding that she is not part of the wedding party.

Stock Show Time Again

We had our county stock show the beginning of January & Brylon got to "show" our neighbor's goat again. She gets to feed these goats when our neighbors go out of town & she loves it. We were going to try to let Kadden work with her showing the goat the week before the stock show, but it was so cold that week, that we just told her Kadden would help her at the stock show.

Kadden helping Brylon bring the goat into the show ring. Hugging the goat, trying to get him to "stand up".
Getting her ribbon from the judge.

Next, it was time for the goat scramble.

Well, maybe if I sneak up on them they will be still.

Cayman 2010

We were so blessed to go to Grand Cayman with some great friends this year to celebrate the New Year. We left 3 days after Christmas & had an absolute blast. We can't wait to go back!!

Our first day, we hung out in downtown Georgetown & shopped. It was pretty cloudy & cold that morning. However, that afternoon the sun came out & it turned into a beautiful day. We went to a little bar/grill on the public beach & hung out while the kids swam & had fun in the ocean.

Brylon posing for some pics on the beach.
(Wish I could take credit for the pics this day, but our friend Jeannie, who is a prof. photographer, took these with my camera.)

Not sure where she got this idea, but it made some cute pics.

Ooooh! That water is cold!

Absolutely LOVE this picture.

The next morning we hung out on the beach at our friend's house & played in the sand. Brylon loved picking up seashells.

Getting ready for her seashell hunting adventure.
Look. I found a big seashell.

Posing for the next "Ms. Cayman".
That afternoon, we went out on a scuba boat (our friends know the owner, so he agreed to take us out). We went to Stingray city & swam with the stingrays, then went snorkling for a little bit. The tide was pretty strong, so this was more work than it was really worth, but still a great experience. Those pics were taken with a waterproof camera & had to be sent off. Will post later.
The next day was our dolphin day. This was the day that Brylon had been waiting on ever since we told her we were going to Cayman. She loved it!
Getting ready for our swim.
Kissing Galileo.
Dancing with Galileo.
Mom even got to surf with the dolphins.
They are amazing mammals!!!
After the dolphin swim, we went across the street to the turtle farm. Brylon thought this was pretty cool too.

Christmas 2010

Hillary & I took Brylon & Trey to the Polar Express in Lubbock. They had a great time riding the train to the "North Pole" & visiting with Santa and some of his elves.
