Dr. Q.T. Patooty

I know! I know! I am a couple of months late posting these pictures. No excuses, just haven't made time to get it done.

Brylon was the BEST surgeon EVER! (Sorry Dr. Abel & Dr. McFaul) at our county Fall Festival.

We also went Trunk-or-Treating after one of our ball games. I didn't have time to get home and change her clothes, so she just wore her Halloween outfit I made for her.

Brylon was the cutest flower girl in Brian's cousin's wedding!

Rehearsal:

She did great in the wedding.

Walked all the way down the isle by herself. Then she found her Daddy and came back to sit in his lap for the service.
Then our little social butterfly had too much fun at the reception and dance.

She almost outlasted her Mom & Dad.

But not quite!

Homecoming 2008

Mom did not get to go to Homecoming this year. I was in Houston at a conference. However, Brian did a great jog getting Brylon ready for their Homecoming date. Not sure who actually did her hair, but I thank them! Thanks to Aunt Andrea, we have these great pics.

GO BEARKATS!

Hey Doug!
What are you doing in there?

Silly Uncle Scotty!

Listening to the band.
Can we go see the Bearkat?

Whoa!!
Not so close Mimi.

OK. Maybe I'll try just one finger.

LOVE MY MIMI!

AND MARCUS!

"You see, it's like this!"
Another favorite Lady Kat, Cassie.
Still a little concerned about that Bearkat.

Finally!
My favorite part of the game.

What I have been doing this month.

Hanging out in the new KitFox.

Hey Dad! When did you say I could get my taildragger endorsement?
This is a piece of cake!

Hanging out at the Howard County Fair.
Helping Penni with the goats at the fair.
Trying to feed the goat. She had a hard time understanding that the goat was not hungry and did not want to eat.
OK. Fine. I'll just stand over here and eat my Cheetos. Never been a problem for me to eat when somebody sticks food under my nose.

I realized this weekend that she has been spending too much time with Penni. I bought her a stuffed lamb while I was at Houston. When I gave it to her and told her it was a lamb, she argued with me and said "NO, goat".
I think we finally convinced her it is a lamb-not a goat.

Bath time is SO much more fun with bubbles.
Can you say GUACAMOLE?
Hi Kim! This is why Mom & Dad won't let me go to Moss Creek Ranch with them.

Thanks for the GREAT Rocking Chair SueSue!

Susan & Robert Pryor gave her this cute little rocking chair & she loves it. She drags it from her room to wherever we are and says "sit", then "wok".

"I'm too sexy for this rocking chair!"
Her really cheesy "Say Cheese" smile.
My cool new book that the Kothmann's gave me!
It makes real animal noises :)
Reading my new book with Daddy.

Quack! Quack! Quack!

We went to the park last week while Brian was in Nebraska. Brylon loved playing in the sand and throwing the sand and rocks back in the water. It was a little cool that day, but the weather did not stop her from wanting to go "wimmin". I had a hard time convincing her to stay out of the water.

Oma (Annette) sings a "little duck" song with her and her favorite part is the quacking part of the song. When she heard the ducks quacking she got excited and wanted to go see the "quack, quack, quack".

She thought it was pretty cool when they all started coming to her.

WHOA! Getting a little close!

"Whereday go????"

This poor duck was hurt. I was a little nervous letting her get so close, but of course she had to-you guessed it-kiss the duck.

Just a few snapshots.

OH! Did I say she is becoming little miss independent?

"I doit"

Found the water puddles. And LOVED them!
She found my goggles in my gym bag.

MOVE OVER MICHAEL PHELPS!!!

She is talking more & more every day. My favorite is when she holds her hands up to you and says "hold you?". Some of her toys, especially the ones that make annoying noises, have suddenly become "boke". She holds them up to us and the "boke" gets louder every time she says it as if the increasing volume in her voice will somehow "unboke" the toy.

Unfortunately, the most frequent phrase we are hearing lately is "make mess". One of my favorite stories is one morning Brian was making breakfast (like he does every morning--how awesome is that!!!) and Brylon accidently pulled over the whole carton of eggs. The look on her face was priceless and a very dramatic "OHHHHHNOOOO" was hilarious! No Steve, they didn't fall on her head, so she didn't have shiny hair that day! (inside joke)

She enjoys the football games. She is always starving for attention at the games--HA!

Vicki made her cheerleading outfit. Thanks Vicki!
