Summer is Here

Wow! Where has time gone? We have been really busy the last couple of months. It seems like there has been something every weekend, then we play catch up during the week.
In May, Brylon's friend, Hannah, had her 2nd Birthday Party. The girls hadn't seen each other in about a month, so when Hannah saw Brylon, both the girls just screamed and ran and gave each other a big hug. It was the cutest thing!!!
Hannah & Brylon blowing bubbles.
Brylon is growing so fast. She will repeat anything you say & her personality is coming out more everyday. She loves the water & loves to swim. We put her in swimming lessons this year. Even though she wasn't quite old enough, the teacher said she would take her. She did great!! Now, she will jump off the side of the pool by herself and kick her way back to the edge--with floats on. In the bathtub, she puts her face in the water and pushes off the back of the tub with her feet and glides to the other end of the tub. She will do this for hours if you let her.
Our "neighbor"-well, he owns the land surrounding our place, but lives on the north end of the county, had a birthday last month. My grandfather worked for Mr. Edwards for several years, so it was pretty cool for me to get a chance to visit with him. Brian gets to talk about airplanes with him all the time, but this was the first time I had a chance to really visit with Mr. Edwards.
Brian & Brylon with Mr. Edwards at his 75th Birthday.Mr. Edwards' son, Tex, and Brian have become good friends, mainly through their love of airplanes and flying, but Tex is also an Eco-Drip customer. It has been great getting to know Tex & his wife, Hillary. We always have alot of fun together. They have a son, Trey, who is about 9 months younger than Brylon. They also have a lot of fun hanging out!

Hey Bebe!!!

There is a story behind that. At Mr. Edward's party, Brylon & Trey were standing with Brian & Tex & Hillary along with a few other people. Anyway, Trey walks right up to Brylon & says "Hey Bebe". Everybody just cracked up laughing. So, now it is our ongoing joke.

Hey, she's kinda cute!

Must be our daddies goofing off in the airplanes again.

What? We're not doing anything!

Brylon loves to feed the horses. She still has NO fear. I guess that is good. You just have to watch her closely though. We tell her all the time not to walk behind them, but she doesn't seem to understand because she is constantly grabbing and swinging their tail when she walks by to get more food for them.

Where's your mouth?

Our friend, Kyle, who Brylon just loves, came over one night and took Brylon swimming.

Can you tell she is freezing?
She still refused to get out of the water.

It's a frog!
She was fascinated with that frog, but she wouldn't get closer than this to it. Kyle picked it up so she could touch it, but she ran the other way. Such a little girl!
